6'' procomp question
4.56 would be a good all around gear for you.
blem tires means cosmetic damage. ex. you buy an interco tire it might say terco instead of interco. so your saving money for a cosmetic defect, the tire itself is no different and still has the company's warranty
a suggestion is to get a programmer which will fix your speedometer and once you have the gears you can enter that to fix your speedometer again and will gain you power which you will like. i use a vmp tuned xcal2 and its great and justin is great. dad runs PHP (re-cased edge) which allows you to have custom tuning but you have a screen if you want a screen get the gryphon if you dont get a xcal2 or 3 from VMP or troyer.

my buddy runs an automotive shop in Jeanerette, and i can get toyo's at cost- so ill probably get those- i thought someone can re-calibrate the stock speedometer? and how much am i looking at for a programmer? i need to find a secret treasure chest, or win the lotto so i can pay for all these mods
Stacking spacers is a bad idea. Don't do it.
Adjustable coilovers were made to be "ADJUSTED". Yes. It is a good idea to adjust your coilovers. Crank them out for the extra 2 inches if you want. DO NOT stack a spacer on top of already cranked coilovers. As a matter of fact, if you get coilovers, you shouldn't even think about stacking spacers on top.
A body lift with a 6" suspension lift will get you more height. As far as aesthetics, that is a personal opinion. If you like the look, then do it. It will give you the clearance to put on a larger tire. So, yes, you will gain ground clearance. If you go up to a 37" tire from a 35" tire, you gain ONE INCH. If you can justify the cost of the body lift, and the cost of the bigger tires, for 1"; then knock yourself out.
However, if you really are serious about running bigger tires, and want to do it "right", then you need more than a 6" lift kit. Look for bigger lifts. Rize offers up to 12" of lift, and you can run up to 40" tires.
As far as the gearing, what are you looking to achieve? Do you want to retain a close to stock ride & mileage? Or do you want to get more power to the wheels to pull yourself and/or other people out? Lower gears will put more power to the wheels, but you'll get worst mileage. If you're driving this truck everyday, can you afford to get 9 MPG? Or do you want to be able to turn those big tires and not get stuck?

if he doesnt regear he will be getting 9MPG. thats what i got with 37's running the stock 3.73's. if you going to swap the 37's for 35's from season to season 4.56's or 4.88's, they are very close to each other, if i were you i would get 4.88's it will give you a little more low end grunt with the 37's over the 4.56's but its really not too big of a deal.
i dont have a programmer, its not a necesity. the dealer can recalibrate your speedo but its like 100 bucks, a new tuner is around 400.
Just get a procomp stage I and some DL's if you act quick fabtech's site has belmished coilovers for 280 a peice. that is a killer deal i would jump on that if you have some cash right now.

fabtech lift
does that fabtech lift kit come with extended brake lines and all that?? Because I have a 2005 f-150 and i want to lift it 6 inches and i was wondering what company was the best.
Do the coilovers and bilstein's make the cv angles as bad as the leveling kit? Also I'm getting 37's today or tomorrow. I only use my truck on wknds, around 500 miles a month. How soon should I get my gears changed?
I thought i'd ask you guys since ya'll are in nearly every post.

you don't have to get your gear changed, but i would recommend it. it will make the tranny more happy and your mpg will be better with better gearing, but several guys are running 37's and 3.73's and ain't having any issues.
I can sit there and power brake the 35's so I figured 37's shouldn't put me that much in a bind. I'll probably order a programmer within the next week or 2 so hopefully that'll help out some. If I drive the speed limit and don't run the truck i'm getting 12,5-13 msg with the 35's.
i ran the 37's without regearing for about 2 months. it wasnt to bad, just dont beat the hell out of the truck. but ocne you regear its like bein in a race car for the first week you have them haha
