03 screw torsion lift

i had a 91 mazda b2200 when i was younger, and i dropped it with blocks and torsion bar bolts..

i now have an 03 supercrew 4wd. the front sits a tad lower than the back.. i havent measured it, but its noticable if your looking for it.

im wondering if theres a how to for torsion bar lift on my truck floating around out there

tyia

Just tighten the torsion bars a couple turns on both sides. There are places on ebay that sell torsion keys, but they aren't worth it and can do more harm than good.

I agree. Just crank up each adjustment bolt an equal number of turns untill you get the height you want. Then get an alignment.

RIght. Clockwise will lift the front, counterclockwise will lower the front. I have a pic in my old gallary but can't find it since they redid the gallarys. Just follow the torsion bar back underneath the cab. There is an adjustment cam and bolt at the end of each torsion bar where it is mounted in the crossmenber.

i need a pic lol. im a visual learner, and that was 9 years ago when i messed with that mazda.

so should i measure from the top of the tire to the bottom of the wheel well lip, or from the ground to the wheel well, or from the ground to the bottom of the truck body just behind the wheel well?

reason i ask is because ive seen pics of a truck that had the front bars cranked to level it out... the truck itself was very level, but the front wheel wells looked like there was a tad more clearance.

thanks bro

It doesn't matter. You can measure the wheelwells, lay a level on top of the cab or just use the old calibrated eyeball.
