2wd rear lift

What would be easier to get a 1.5" to 2" lift in the back? Would something like the Ready Lift Block or an Add-A-Leaf be easier to install?

I'm not raising my truck or anything and I'm not leveling it (I've never understood leveling, when you put weight in the back it just looks as though it's sagging) I just want to simply raise the back end a little more.

I've never put a lift on but the lift blocks seem to be a pretty simple install. Just some basic hand tools are all you need from what I'm hearing. The blocks was the route I was going to go when I was thinking about lifting.

You don't need to lift your truck. It's already high enough in the rear. Lift blocks are purely aesthetic and they really don't do much for helping your truck manage the weight in the bed. Consider an add-a-leaf & a Hellwig helper spring.

Hellwig 1510

LP-15

- Medium Duty Loads
- 1500 lbs. Level Load Capacity
- Available in Progressive & Constant Rate
- Factory ride is unaffected when vehicle is unloaded
- Includes all mounting hardware in one box

This helper spring line fits the Mid-size and Small pick-up groups. Manufactured with heat treated ASTM 5150 alloy spring steel in our California based facility, these units increase your vehicles level load carrying capacity up to the manufacturer’s Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. Featuring heavy duty components and easy to read installation instructions this helper spring line-up does a lot of work for its size. Simple bolt on design using common hand tools provide the installer ease of installation and the vehicle owner hassle free use. “Set it and forget it”. With its Progressive Spring Rate this helper spring automatically adjusts its spring rate to the load applied to the vehicle. For example, with the Progressive design the vehicle must be loaded and its spring compressed to activate the Hellwig spring, therefore as the vehicles load increases the Hellwig helper spring progressively increases its resistance to the load. Packaged in one kit this unit comes complete with plated and powder coated components, spring leaves, heavy duty hardware and installation instructions to make this unit easy to install and use. Fine tune your vehicles leaf spring suspension to suit your particular needs by adjusting the heavy duty u-bolts provided. If your tow and haul needs change, simply adjust the heavy duty u-bolts to suit the new requirement. Once installed and adjusted you are free to haul and or tow a multitude of equipment and commodities with greater control and stability.

I am doing it purely for aesthetics though. I never tow and I never put more than 200 lbs in the back. I simply like the higher end of the 4x4 trucks and want to lift the rear an inch or two. Thanks for all the input though. Much appreciated.
