if you already have 4.56 gearing, you could get away w/ out re-gearing to 4.88's. probly wouldn't be worth your money. BL on our trucks are expensive, the coilover route would be much easier and cheaper. crank the coilovers 2" and run 37's.

and the 4.6 will do just fine, anyone with a 5.4 hates us 4.6 folk.

dirtbound has 37's on his 4.6l so i would ask him how his truck rides.
tbonesmonster isn't on to much but he has 41's on his 4.6

I went with a custom Magnaflow exhaust.. 2.5" X-pipe, 2 14" magnapacks, 2 3.5" tips, all on 2.5" piping.. it cost about $400 after it was all said and done with labor and etc.. there's an exhaust clip in my signature

My wheels were about $700 from discount tire.. 20" Procomp 7005s, your tires look pretty wide though.. those look like atleast 13.5" wide..?

I think 6" with 35s look great for the size of our truck..

People shouldn't hate on the 4.6. I'd rather have the 7.3 super duty from 03 but this is my first truck and im proud

I have to find out what gears I have now. When i asked the guy about all this when he was tryna sell me the truck, he had no idea what I was talkin bout.

You look alot like my girlfriend, I'm not being like sarcastic either

I kinda want the mud grapplers now. They look sweet.

Back on subject, get the coil overs for the front like everyone's been saying.

the beaches of FL im in Tampa are close to there?

anyway on your question id go with a 2" Levelin kit and an add a leaf in the back. Unless you already have that. Sorry didnt read the whole post

If you are thinkin body lift you will want to do it yourself, or find a shop thats really down on its luck they are expensive to install.

well the add-a-leaf (aal) is just an extra leaf spring. They will lift the truck anywear between .5-1.5" maybe more its just which one you buy. They will make the ride alittle stiffer but i dont think stiff is a bad thing... in a truck you pervs

hear on the West Coast the few shops i talk to frequently said something like 700 for install on a body lift for an 04-08 F150 then 2 shops i get parts from frequently said they wont even do it.

yeah the lift itself i think is a tad more than 300. The install is time consumin not hard thats were the price comes from.

I know you can get some one to help you. And if you go around to a few shops you can find better deals. Some shops just want WORK so check with these if you cant get any help

it looks to me like she has the pro-comp lift that uses a block on the front so she might not want to stack a spacer on top of that....at least i wouldn't

go with coilovers, maybe take 2 hrs if you didn't know what you were doing. there $560 for both directly from fabtech. you have a pro comp stage 1 lift im assuming from the pics (stage 1 means spacer and stock coilovers in the front) but getting the fabtechs you can adjust the coilovers to give you 2 more inches of lift, if you use 4wd alot i wouldn't go past 2 inches.
AAL in the rear like 4.2 said, i have them and they tightened the feel of the truck and truck doesn't sag when i have it loaded down as much any more. since you have the procomp stage 1 i would get a new rear block as your rear blocks are probly stacked right now and isn't recommended. they sell a 5.5" rear block i believe or you could get a rize 6" and probly get by w/ out a AAL
