Procomp lift w/leveling kit

I just installed the leveling kit with my procomp stage 1 lift kit. Heard of people doing this so i figured i would give it a try. Everything seems to be fine until i get up to around 55+ and i get a humming noise from the front end. Just wondering what may be causing this and is it causing damage??

No, it didn't make the noise until after i added the spacers. I've heard people say that it's not good and i've heard people say that as long as you are not doing any heavy offroading it should be fine. I have a friend of mine who has had that set up on his truck since 05 running 37's with no problems, but also does not have the humming noise

Are you in 4 wheel drive when this is happening? Did you get an alignment after adding the spacer? Does it do it on acceleration or deceleration?

okay did you add the spacer on wen you put the lift on, or after?

if you did it when you put the lift on the problem may not be in the spacer set up it might be in your wheel assembly int he knuckle. check your pulse vaccumm lines make sure they are connected at the knuckle. may sound dumb but check your CV boots aswell, if one of them is slit and faceing the right direction the wind at that speed can cause the rubber to move pretty rapily POSSIBLY making a sound like that.

When you slow down below about 10MPH do you hear and sort of knocking.. i dont know how to explain it but when you were a kid and put a baseball card in the spokes of your wheels on your bike, that sound haha.

i dont have the extra spacer, but had the baseball card sound and really bad vibration over 50. Took it to a couples places and said it was a wheel bearing, that didnt fix it. Took it to 4wheelparts. They said the 4x4 hubs were shot which caused the noise, then since the hubs were shot, the rack and pinion wasnt getting enough pressure put on it causing it to vibrate really bad.
