Question about my FX4

i knw this may sound like a dumb question but do FX4s sit a little higher than standard 4x4s? because my 02 FX4 next to my uncles 03 Lariat 4x4 screw, its about 2 inches higher it seems, and we're on level ground. Is there a possibilty the previous owner cranked the tbars or adjusted the shocks (it has the ranchos that come on from the factory, dunno if those are adjustable or not). We bought it from an auction so there's no way we could talk to the previous owner whether he has done anything to it. And i could easily clear 33's right now. My buddy said 35s would look too small with 6" of lift cuz of the additional height.?

just look at your front angles of your axles. yours are probly angled and your uncles are probly parallel to the ground. is your truck more level? and his front end sit lower?
