7700 front shocks

ok i dont want to seem like a complete idiot but but i just dont get this. i have a 2000 f150 7700 series 4x4 and i cant find the front springs. are they in the shocks or what?

ford has developed a fairy/gnome hybrid that is more reliable than a standard gnome. this new hybrid little guy functions as the spring but he has to stay in an invisible state to do so.



no really, you see that bar running from your lower a-arm to about the middle of the cab? thats called a torsion bar and acts as the spring.
