Pro Comp 4" Block
Pro Comp 4" Block
Does anyone know anything about the Pro Comp 4" rear block? Does it replace the factory block and therefore adds ~2.5" of lift (factory is 2 5/8" right?)? Or does it replace the factory block and give a true 4" lift to the rear end? Like 4" + stock height....
Thanks!
Thanks!
oh well... I was looking for something to give me like 2" in addition to the stock height... since I already have a 3" level kit which makes my truck squat.... I guess Im looking at some leaf springs then...
Thanks for the info guys!

Wingman, check out the A/S rear blocks. They replace the stock blocks and give you more rear lift, should work well with your 3" leveling kit.

just between the guys on this post so far, and a few others are welcome to join in...but I don't want to get into an argument like what almost happened last time when I talked about my 3" spacer - which is why I want to keep this between the guys who have already posted on here...
I bought a 3" level kit from Fat Bob's Garage last summer and had it installed by a 4x4 truck shop. I love the height I got out of it. But I really didn't know what all it did to the front end geometry and the CV's. But within the past 3 months I have been doing extensive research and know what it affects, but I don't understand why some people have problems and some don't. I have seen others trucks with 2" spacers and they don't THAT much better, they're better, but not by much. You can go to my albums and check out my CV angles; there's even a photo of someone's FX4 with a 2" spacer on there as well..... My mechanic who's worked on 4x4's for a long time said that it looked fine, and the 4wd should not have ANY problems at ALL... and the guy who runs the shop that installed it for me said I should be fine to use 4wd as well, "as long as you're not doing some SERIOUS offroading - and then, you might break a CV" I don't go ballin' in 4wd in my truck, I just get stuck in mud, drive up some steep hills (I could see the hills as putting more stress on it) and just have fun w/ my truck, and I wanna take it on the beach soon too... so I am wondering am I ok with the 3" or would it be worth the money to buy and intall a 1.5" spacer and a rear block (cause I looked at someone's with a 1.5" and I could REALLY tell a difference, unlike with the 2"
Just trying to figure this out.
Thanks!
