Stuck with 3in leveling kit NEED OPTIONS
Ive got a 3inch leveling kit on my truck with 17in **** cepeck rims and 33in mickey thompson tires and obviously the 3in lift is incorrect i know this i bought the truck that way..... So i need to fix it! so i have a few predicaments i have....
I have stock 17in rims and tires brand new that i run for the winter i want to keep those
I want to get rid of the leveling kit even a 2 1/2 in instead of the 3 i dont like because of the angles it puts the front end in...
I thought about 6in lift but i cant run the stockers then....
I thought about the 4 in lift but only rancho makes that that i know of and there price is redic compared to a 6 in for like 200 more
I know nothing about body lifts soooo give me some things i can do
i am trying my best not to spend a ton of money but give me your thoughts and estimate price???

If your looking into a 6" lift. I THINK I was reading and you can run RCD 6" suspension lift with stocker rims and tires...I THINK, so don't quote me. Somebody will agree with me or disagree, so just wait and see.
Thanks man ill wait wana get alot of idias but ill look into it
yeah i initially ordered the 3" level kit but then changed over to the 2.5 AS to help out with the angles. i put that on last summer with my mud 33's on moto metals. and i still run my stockers in the winter but the tires were looking small so i ordered some 33's for that also. and i tried looking into the rancho but that was even pricy for just 4 inches. i suggest you get an add a leaf iwth your level kit.. it made my truck look totally different and it feels alot larger for a good price.
you could buy a 2" Auto Spring and install it... IMHO, its not worth it to downsize a half an inch. It will not improve any of you angles much... I have the 3" kit as well... I put my truck in 4wd a lot and have never had a problem with it. I am trying to get a 4" Pro Comp rear block to raise the back end up too, so it won't squat.

also, just to throw this out there: when I was debating as to whether or not to get rid of my 3" level kit, I figured this - I know with factory specs I can go up to 55mph in 4wd. Why on earth would I (since I don't do Baja or anything like that) need to go 55mph in 4wd... I've done it before in another truck using 4wd on a dirt road and man it had good traction - but truth be known, I really shouldn't have been doing 55 on that road. I could have had great traction in 2wd at a much safer speed. And for instance the other day when it snowed 6 inches here in Raleigh, NC, I got out and drove around just fine doing 25mph w/ my 3" level kit... In snow, in mud, or on the beach are the only places where I'd ever use 4wd constantly while I'm driving. So Im not gonna go that fast in 4wd... I would only use it at slow speeds, or to get me unstuck... the added clearance would benefit me more than the usage of the 4wd at higher speeds... sorry to make that so long :/ but that's what I figured out for me, and how I use my truck... Hope that can help you some!

well i have it on there for about 14000 miles... i have done some pretty serious stuff with it, i made it up a hill that was extremely steep... my upper a-arm was resting on the coil springs... now I can say that I have gone over speed bumps when pretty fast and heard it make some odd noises up front... but that was the coil spring and the a-arm again... i just figure i would go slower over them, lol... but i hear ya, i don't like the angles, but i think i'll stick with mine... it works for me. But good luck in deciding on what to do!
