Bilstein HD shocks

I am trying to decide between the Rancho 9000 series adjustables and the Bilsteins. I have heard that the 5100's can give a rather stiff ride due to the off-road valving. I don't mind a little stiffer than stock, but I don't want a lot stiffer. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Bilstein HD's(yellow& blue)? The truck is a 2008 Screw with AS 2 1/2" in front and Firestone bags in back.

I've run nothing but Bilsteins for the past 3 years and love 'em. The ride is a little stiifer but nothing really that noticable IMO. My 03's a daily driver driver on destroyed MI roads and she gets her share off road also. Bilsteins have been nothing but great in both situations. When the wife's Jeep Commander needs new shocks, they'll be Bilsteins. Worth the money.

I've got the HD Blue&Yellow's front and rear on my truck. They firmed up the ride and give a lot better side to side control when going around turn's. Also help out when towing and controlling the large tires on my truck. I don't find that they ride rough at all. Definitely an improvement over the stocker's.
