6" pro comp+2.5" spacer...will it work

Hey due to uncle sam's generosity ill be gettin back a nice chunk of change this year. I already have a 2.5 spacer on the front and i was wondering..if i bought the 6in lift..could i stack the 2.5 spacer on top for more lift? Would there be any problems doing this? Thanks

Yes you could, but you better go with a stage 2.

Stalking spacer isn't a great idea.

yes, it can work.

Agree with Pat on that one, but you could get by stacking spacers. People do. Even a few on this site IIRC.

so your saying i would need a lift with extended struts and springs instead of the big a-- spacer that the stage 1 procomp uses?

No, saying I would SUGGEST it. It would = a better ride, and just a better all around system. Stacking front spacers isn't as big of a deal as the rear. The only thing i don't like, is instead of one solid coilover mounted to a spacer, you have a spacer, mounted to coilover, mounted to spacer. Not the most solid, but it should be just fine. Run that way for awhile, and save up for some aftermarket coilovers !

How much off roading you plannin to do ? Abusive ? baby it ?

Thanks for that...
As far as off-roading. Dirt roads..some snow(as much as we get in sc) is about it. Im not much into mudding in my truck. But never really ragging it out. Ive got a 4wheeler for that. Its alot cheaper to fix. So you say go with the fabtech...know where the best deal is?

Raising this thread from the dead but I have a 6 inch procomp but I had 3 inch HBS lvl kit on before do you think I could run my spacer with the strut extension and an add a lead in the rear or is that pushing it. And also wanna run a 3 inch bl later after the winter. Could this be possible with the front end geometry??

really?....I am thinking if using a 2" spacer up front. I don't want my CV's to be totally outta whack, in your case that isn't a problem.
