my truck's doing good. your old fabtech kit has served me well. believe it or not, those front shocks that were under your truck are still under mine, and are holding up well.

The kit pulls 14 and the rear is limited to around 15 i think. I have to shorten the driveshaft first before i pull more travel so it wont slam into the transfer case.

wouldn't shortening the rear driveshaft open up the potential of the transfer case leaking fluid?

he's not gonna be shortening it that much. just a inch or two so that the slip yoke doesn go all the way to the back of the t-case. it will be pulled out SLIGHTLY so he has room to go forward.

im doing something like this to my 06 F150 2WD. its mainly going to be a Baja chase truck. but i really am having a hard time finding parts for the front. going to build a custom 4-link in the rear with a full cage in the interior tieing into the bed. I think im going with King airshocks all around. I just need to find the parts for the front suspension.

I had a custom DS made before the rear suspension was built. At ride height i would say about 3/4 of an inch of the yolk is exposed. Where its limited at droop, the yolk stops right before it smashes the seal. Shortening it about 1 inch at most should give me a few more inch's of droop.

There are ton's of company"s that make 2wd kits for your truck. Heres a small list

Blitzkrieg Motorsports a.k.a. BMS (Highly recommend and i know one of the fabricators)
Camburg
JD Fabrication
Brenthal Industries
Dixon Brothers
