Expedition Lift fit on F150??

Hey guys,
I work at a gym and one of the gyms just came up and started asking me about my truck... well it turns out that he used to have an expedition (97-02) that had a 6" lift kit, 3" body lift and new wheels with 35's. He offered all that, AND a brushguard to me for $2500, he was a victim of the cruise control recall fire and the stuff is just sittin in his garage. What could I use on my F150 and what would not work... right now I dont have too much money just layin around so Im thinking if the bodylift will work on the truck, I might just get that and the 35's... any help would be appreciated

The lift kit will work, just a mtter of new rear springs/ or blocks. The F150 and expd use teh same front suspension, but a different rear. Doubt th body lift would br teh same. Brushguard will work as well. also 97/ 98 body is slightly different from 99 on, so they may may or may not be an issue with the brush guard.

I agree. I doubt the body lift is worth the hassle because of several differences. Besides, they are not that expensive brand new. The 6 inch suspension lift could be a great deal.

the body lift probably isn't worth the hassle of pulling off and removing, but the suspension lift certainly is. the front will work, for the rear you will need either a 4'' block or so to stack w/ the factory 2'' block (not what i recommend) or a custom, new leaf spring pack for the 6'' lift. (what i have and recommend)

just so you know, the fabtech kit instructs you to stack their 4'' block w/ the stock block to achieve the 6'' of lift in the rear. i, along w/ many others, do not feel that stacking blocks is safe.
