Body lift question

Body lift question

Im wondering if i put a 3 inch body lift on my truck would i have to switch my wheels? My wheels have 6.288 backspacing

No. A body lift has nothing at all to do with your suspension or steering components.

like wandell said, you could use your current rims

but if you get new tires ,

watch the width ,with my BL , i had 20x9 MM951's with 6.18 bs with 35/12.5R20 Toyo Mt's and they re was like a half inch of clearance between the tire lugs and the control arms, and it rubbed on turns, bumps and what not, got pretty annoying, only cure was some new rims

honestly , i would look into new rims if you are lifting it in any way, it takes away from the lifted stance with the tires tucked in, and you would obviously have rubbing if you went with a larger width tire .
