PS - Warranty void from lift?

So I know that the warranty voids certain parts of the truck that it directly alters, as well I guess it should... would power steering be one of these items?

I have a pro-comp 6" stage II 1/2cranked and 35x12.50 terragrapplers...

It doesnt have a problem when the rpms are rev'd up... I was thinking that this may be because of the pressure valve?

The ultimate question is though do you think the dealer would void the warranty on the power steering because of the lift / tires?

thanks

it depends on the dealer. is the dealer sucks, there gonna say the big tire ruined it. my dealer is great and don't even care that its lifted. if one dealer denies it, try another.

I agree. I've read post of dealers trying to deny warranty because a larger tire was installed while others warrantied Lightnings that were towed from the dragstrip with slicks still installed.

depends on the dealership, i had a severe vibration while braking (still under warranty) and the dealership said they wouldnt cover rotors and pads. 5 days later i went to a dealership 5 miles down the road and they replaced my rotors and pads for free

i'm just saying its says right in the warranty its no covered, if the dealer is willing by all means i'd let him you can't be mad if he says there not covered, like how ZeroDormancy hates ford's warranty.

i hate fords warranty for a few reasons.

but with brakes, you cant tell me that calipers and/or rotors should need replacing after 35k. i can understand pads not being covered

I agree that brake pads should at least last a year. But beyond that, it's not your dealership, or Ford Motor Company's, fault that you're riding the brakes and causing premature wear.
