everyone here will tell you not to waste your time on aftermarket keys, apparently they will destroy your CVs due to ridiculous angles

theres a few guys running around on here that have a 3" body w/ 6" fabtechs and 38's so thats definately doable, although youd probably want to regear

one of my good buddys has a 97 w/ the 3" body and 6" fabtech w/ 35's and it still looks pretty sharp

i dont see you running 36 x 14.5. you could run a 12.5 easily with that setup.

also, you do realize most lift kits tend to level the truck out which makes the keys useless right?

I'd stick with a 35x13.50 max. If you want a larger tire, add a body lift also.

if youre already running 35s and all you really want to do is add width to the tire, no lift kit is going to help you there unless they push the wheelbase out.

if you really want to run a 36 x 14.50, take out the body lift, add the 6" suspension and then get some wheel spacers. 2" should do.

i think it would look pretty good with the body lift still on though. see what the 35s look like after the suspension lift and go from there. either way youre going to need a wheel spacer or a very small back-spacing.

I wouldn't add wheelspacers. THey will push the tires out and cause more fitment problems.

the fabtech kit for the 97-03 4x4's does increase the front track width considerably, however, i don't see you running a 14.50 tire w/o the body lift. even then, i personally would not run wider than a 14.50, as 15.50's will cause rubbing in areas you really can't do anything about.

when i had the torsion bars cranked fully w/ the stock keys on my 03, i tore cv boots on both axles, not to mention the fact that it rode rough and probably accelerated wear on the ball joints. also, especially w/ aftermarket keys, you risk stretching the torsion bars out considerably, and they will eventually sag.

i'd stay away from wheel spacers, they only cause more problems than they solve.

I allready know about ball joint wear and cv joints....

i have had aftermarkit keys in for over a year.... maybe 2 years....

but besides all that i think im going with the 6" lift + keys 1.5 and 37x12.5

and for the rear im thinking of diching the blocks that comes with the lift and running 6" leaf springs or 5" with a little block

you COULD fit 36x13.5 on a 6" Fabtech with the t-bars cranked, and an Add-a-leaf in the back.

Im running 36x12.5 on just a 3" body lift. But my suspension is destroyed... so its getting ripped out.

The cranking on the torsion bars is fine to level the truck but once you put oversized tires on it and start really addin stress like offroad situations your gonna wind up like me. Bend torsion bars, destroyed front axle housing, and broken lower ball joints.

If you want to run 37's get a Fabtech and leave the body lift on. theres no reason taking it off.
