i would go with a suspension lift because i think they look better and also by the time you get the bl installed it would be almost the same price as the pro comp stage 1 lift

How much money are you looking to spend and what size tires do you want to throw on? What's the truck going to be used for?

More info would help....

The general concensus says that suspension lifts are always better that body lifts

The cheapest I have seen Pro Comps are $1300 shipped and you can put it on yourself easily.

You could fit 35's wiht a 3" body lift. Installed your looking at $1200-$1400. $400 for the parts and $800-$1000 for labor

You could also fit 35's with just a leveling kit if you have the right backspacing on the rims. If you keep the stockers they will fit perfectly. You're looking at about $100 for parts and maybe $100 for labor. I have 35's and a 2" leveler right now if you want to check out my pics to see what that looks like.

Keep in mind that if you go with a 6" suspension lift you're going to have to buy new rims also because the stockers have too much backspacing. Cheapest you can get a 6" for is $1188+ shipping and that's for the Pro Comp stage 1. Bet on spending about $500 for labor and another $500 minimum for new rims.

The leveling kit looks good. Seems like a good idea bud. Can you notice a difference from a stocked f150? Even If I did thy for now. Than later I could put 6in lift or somthing like that. Which tires do yall prefer?

A very noticeable difference appearance wise but drives exactly the same.

I love my Mickey Thompson ATZ's and am going to buy another set when I get rid of these. I also had a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Claws on my Bronco and loved those. The ATZ'z are much cheaper than the Baja Claws though. You honestly can't go wrong with anything made by Mickey Thompson.

snm, if your wanting a 6" lift, and your settling for a 2" leveling kit, i promise you 6 months down the road you will be buying a suspension lift. you can get a kit installed for about $1800-$1900 from some shops. wheels you can spend about $550 and tires about $850-$1000 so you could get everything for under $3500. also a 4" kit you can run stock wheels, if you shop wisely and have patience i have heard of people getting the rancho w/ shocks for about $1000.

Yeah 4in lift wouldn't b bad. But I figured a leveling kit would be good for now than down the road I'll wait for a cheap suspension lift. Since if I buy the tires now I aint gotta buy them later.

well if you don't buy them now, save the money, you can buy them later

that rancho went for $1100 plus $60 shipping and it had the shocks so $1160 plus $1000 for tires so thats $2160 plus alignment for the lift.
