Steering problem!!!!!

Hey everyone im new hear and hope to fine some help. my 04 150 just started having some stiff steering, its been doing thins for about 2weeks. when i turn it feels like its fighting back but when i turn the other way it feels the same. Good year told me it could be the steering fluid and if not that maybe the rack and pinon. so if anyone out there has or had or know the same problem please let me know ASAP.
