How to measure for levelling kit?

I've read numerous threads about levelling kits and most say to measure to see what size you need. I'm looking for suggestions on how to measure it accurately.

I've measured from garage floor to bottom of wheel well but the difference doesn't seem to be that great, only abot 3/4" and to me eye it seems much more raked than that.

I'm leaning towards 2" but I do like the look of the 2.5" + a block in the back.

I measured mine from the tire to the wheel well. Ended up being a 2.5" difference between the front tires and back tires so that is what I am going to go with.

do a 2 1/2". if it sits higher in the front, then put in the block.
