Talking Lift made easy?

So my buddy has a 1999 Ford F-150 ext. cab. 4wd and he bought it from a car lot. and he can fit 20'' rims with 35's and were not sure about the lift my question is, is it possible to tighten the torsion bars all the way up to lift the front end and then but 4 inch block in the back to fit 35's?

If possible I also want to know if its possible to do it to a 2wd single cab 2001 f-150

Thanks for your Help

You can fit 35x12.50's on a 4x4 by cranking the torsion bars up all the way and mounting them on the oem wheels, but they will rub the frame slightly at full steering lock. He could do this with a 20 inch wheel, but it would have to be the same width and backspacing as the oem wheels (7.5 inches wide with 4.5 inches of backspacing), which I doubt he can fine.
You can't fit 35's on a 4x2 of the same body style because it sits about 3 inches lower than the 4x4 model.

spacer to level the front w/ the back. then a body lift. thats the cheapest if you install everything yourself. other option is a suspension lift.

the easiest and cheapest way... a sawzaw.

the best way coil spring spacers, and a body lift. or a full suspension lift or spindle lift.

id say do either the body lift coil spring spacer combo or a full suspension lift.
