Pro Comp Shocks

I wanted to post this after reading Wandell's sig today so I hope he will read this and give me some input.

Anyway I ordered Shocks today for my truck (2002 supercab FX4) because my Rancho has a whole and is leaking oil all over my driveway. But anyway I ordered Pro Comp ES9000 from Summit . After reading Wandell's sig I see he has the ES3000 and was wondering what People know about both shocks ? I know it is kind of too late since I ordered them already but still would like some input...

Thanks
- Corey

The Pro COmp shocks are not the best available, but they are decent. They are certainly better than the OEM shocks.

Yes. The Rancho shock on the FX4 package is manufactured and valved to Ford's specs. They have the same valving used on the other OEM Ford shocks used on the Off Road and towing packages. They are nothing great.

Ok, I did not know that. was there a reason you picked the 3000 not the 9000 ?

RIght, I believe the 9000's are valved a little stiffer.
I only went with the 3000's because they were on sale and included a free steering stabalizer.

ive got the es9000s on my truck right now. they are alot better than stock, but are a little on the stiff side. had i known the es3000s were softer ride. i would have went with them. but they are a ton better than stock and i like them
