I agree. That is your least expensive option.

i thought you would also need to put a spacer on top of the bilsteins ?

do they make ones for 6 inch lifts that are adjustable another 2 inches ?

the pro comp uses stock strut assembly up front with a spacer on top, if you use the bilsteins and set them at the 2 inch setting and then use the pro comp spacer on top of that, you'd get 8 inches of lift.

so you would get the ones for the stock setup, and set them to the 2 inch setting , than bolt on the pro comp spacer

If it were me, I'd just go for a 3" body lift. That way, you maintain stock balljoint and cv angles.

PS: From my experiences from lifts coils and spacers, I have become completely against any lift kit over 1"~1.5" that does not address balljoint or cv joint angles. So, if I were to go with 2" spacers, it would be a must for uni-ball UCA.

I've run body lifts on two other trucks and I'd definitely go with the 2" Bilsteins before I did a body lift on my F150. 1-2" in the front is no big deal. The Bilsteins are designed to stop down travel before anything binds. Even then, it would be cheaper to run Camburg upper arms then it would be to have someone put a body lift on, and it would look better and work better. I would hate to install a body lift on a truck that already has a 6" lift, lol.
The CV's are fine at 2", not to mention they're only turning when you're in four wheel drive.

Hey Truspeeder205,

How level does your truck sit right now with just the stage 1? I assume you have the supplied 2.5" block stacked with the stock 2" correct?

I don't see it in this thread anywhere......what model and drive is your truck?
