Decision - AS 2" won over Lowering

Well, I decided today to go with the AS 2" in which I ordered this afternoon. I wish I made the decision on Tuesday - price went up $10.00 but oh well once I get it installed the $10.00 will not be of any concern.

That's the decision I made at first too, 2" AS. Had one on for around a year. I still ended up lowering the truck.

Which makes me wonder why you got a 4x2 when you want the look of a 4x4?

Just got the AS 2" lift in the mail this afternoon. Cannot wait to get it installed!

I never said I wanted the look of a 4x4, just want a level truck! I had a 2004 FX4 SCrew with 6" Procomp, 3" Body Lift and 37's.

You get better gas mileage lowering it.

Ok, so we all agree, we all want our trucks level, either by lowering the *** end 2" or raising the front end 2", either way the truck is level.

yeah i take back my last staement, some trucks look awesome lowered, i just hate the "stuffed" rim look.

when i hear lowered i think ground scraping, sparking, etc.

THOSE trucks look stupid.

dropping it 2 inches in the back dosen't look too bad after looking at everyone elses trucks. I just wouldn't do it on my truck.
