After you add the suspension lift you will wish you had 37's. 11" of lift makes 35's look extremely small.

I've been thinking about putting a 6'' suspension lift on my truck for 1.5 month and i was afraid 35'' would look stupid on it. But i actually like the look. Sure 37 would be alot better, but for now 35'' would look ok.

I already have the leveling kit and body lift/gap guard.

So right now you have 35x12.5 R18?

Correct. Yeah they really dont look too bad but it would be alot nicer if i had my 37s on right now but they will be here when im gone.

looks good bud. Yall did a good job on it.

One thing that really stands out, the factory POS hitch is connected to the bumper ? Really ? Kinda surprising. Guess I never paid too much attention to any buddies F150s. Glad I went class IV.

Well i could have not welded the hitch but then again i would have been able to only have 2 bolts per each side of the bumper. Sense i cut the welds and installed the blocks back there and welded back together i was able to put the other bolts back into the factory place. Looks lil bit weird but still able to use my hitch and stuff.

Aw, I wasn't bashing anything YOU had done. I just saw how the factory hitch mounts, and was a little surprised by it, thats all. So, your saying you cut up the mounting parts ? Is it suppose to attach to more parts of the truck ? My hitch goes under my bumper, and mounts to my frame, with bolts going through the entire frame, 4 on each side or so. Its pretty beef, way overkill, but "go big, or go home" right ?

This is the pic I was looking at. Looks like factory hitch just bolts up to the bumper ??

**edit: :o i don't know what I was lookin at, or thinking. I get it though.

ok i was about to explain it all again but i guess you said you get it though so yeah. Its only so that all the bolts and everything just lines up as they were before you add the body lift. That pic you have you can see the welds that were cut and the blocks installed.

Edit: Yes there is four bolts on each side of the bumper. But all 4 bolts mount to the original spot as they were before adding the body lift so there for if i didnt re weld the hitch or put the blocks in there my bumper would sit 3 inches lower. Do you see what im saying. The bumper still mounts up to everything its just you have to add the 3 inch blocks to raise the bumper which means you see alot of the hitch.

Well mhockey's truck look freaking good if you ask me and he got 11'' of lift.

I'll put 37'' when my tire are done, but i'm still good for atleast 20 000 miles on them... So don't want to waste tires.
