creaking in front end

new shocks were recently put on my truck. i also replaced the idler arm this summer. within the past couple of days i've noticed a creaking noise in the front end when going over speed bumps and when pressing down on the front bumper. i can't tell if it's one of the springs, shocks, etc. i've read that some of the newer ford bodies have creaking problems due to the frames being put together with rivets. i have not gone to the shop that did the recent work. any suggestions/precautions to be aware of before i go talk to the "professionals". thanks in advance for any help.

have someone else push down on the bumper while you try to locate the noise then youll know what your dealin with and the shop wont be able to tell you its somethin you dont need
