Leveling kit for a California FX4...

Alright, so I want to fix the rake look on my FX4.

My concern is that, living in Los Angeles, I have enough of a difficult time with parking structures and such. They don't seem to be very friendly.

With this in mind, I don't want to lift the truck much at all... I just want the damned thing to sit level.

Will a 2" lift kit accomplish what I want without lifting the FX4 too much?

On a side note, how much, generally, will 20" Rims with 33"-35" tires lift the FX4?

Thanks guys.

Which one, though... the 2" or the 2.5" kit? Which one actually levels the FX4s?

I've got the 2.0" and it's pretty dang level... take a look at my pics and decide for yourself.

I've heard some people say the 2.5" brings the nose up just slightly.

if you go to a 35" tire, say you have a 31" now. thats a 4" bigger tire. divide 4 by 2= 2" higher. im not sure how your parking garages are in cali but my dads 2x4 with a 2 1/2" kit his antanae hits the roof of his parking garage like crazy so just be sure before you do the mods

Yep, if it's a 2000 maybe a few crank's on the torsion bar's will do. Then go with some 33 or 34's

You could take off the 2'' block in the rear. Your truck would be level and no problem with parking.

yeah but hes also wanting to add 33s or 35s on a 20inch rim so there for by taking out the rear block it will not work he needs a 2inch leveling kit.

33'' will fit without a leveling kit. I had that setup for 1 month without any problem or rubbing.

285/70R18 Toyo Open Country AT on 17x9 with 5'' backspacing.

Hm... I guess I'll have to put some thought into it. I am thinking I might to sacrifice some ceiling clearance for a better looking truck.

Maybe I'll just have my wife drive her Mach I when we got to the mall.

Not sure what your clearance is or if this will even help you out but with my truck 6" Lift and 2" Levling Kit and 35s I cleared a 7'8 Ft Garage at an airport with like almost 5 inches i would say to spare.
