Just installed my 2" AS leveling kit

Well I just installed my 2" AS leveling kit. I have an 08 F-150 w/ 1200 miles. I could not stand the front rake on the truck so it had to be done. Now it actually looks like a 4 wheel drive. It is probably the easiest kit to install. It took me about an hour to complete using only hand tools. I did not find any part of this install to be a challenge. The first side took me about 40-45 minutes (had to find tools). The second took 15 minutes. The only issue that I could see someone having is getting the upper balljoint tight. The problem with this is the ball wants to spin when you tighten the nut. All I did was used my breaker bar as a prybar, I stuck it in the "springperch" and lightly pryed down. Again it was an easy install that I would recommend to anyone that has changed shocks on a vehicle. As I said I bought the 2" kit for $68 plus free shipping on ebay. I got almost 2.5" of lift out of it.

I will try to get some pictures tonight. The camera is in my wifes car. I did not take any of the install 1. because I was to excited to get it done, 2. someone posted some very good pictures of an install not to long ago. But, I will get some of my Stone Green (Brown) F-150 tonight.

I have the 08 stone green (brown) supercrew with a 2" leveling kit. The leveling kit sure does make a big difference in the look of the truck. Congrats! Can't wait to see the pics.

Sorry guys, I didn't get home untill after dark. I have the camera in my hand and will take pictures Thursday morning and post in the afternoon. By the way how do you post pictures on this site?

CBJ XLT: I also agree that the 2" makes a big difference in the looks. It actually looks like a four wheel drive.

PAW PAW: I will be looking at tires and wheels before to long I'm sure.

Okay, Here it is guys. Let me know what you think (good or bad). Just keep in mind it only has 1300 miles and I've only had it for less then two months. At this point it has the 2" AS leveling kit, Extang Full Tilt Cover and tinted windows. I hope you enjoy, cause I know that I have been.
