4X4 Problem

While I was 1200 miles from home, I had a front wheel bearing assembly replaced a couple of weeks ago. Now, i notice my 2005 F150 won't engage in 4 wheel drive when I turn the button. Is there something unplugged or a fuse blown that I can check?

Thanks for any assistance !

first of all, check to see that the vacuum hose is hooked up to the IWE. with that off, the spring inside the IWE will keep the hub disengaged. when you look at the inside of the knuckle, you should see the hose hooked up on the top of the IWE.

id start there, and if that looks good, then i would look at the solenoid behind the battery which operates the vacuum to those lines..... just maybe the shop unhooked the plug at the solenoid and forgot to hook it back up.

hope its an easy find for you !!!
