sounds fair enough.. I paid $500, but I think $600-700 is fair.. the dealership and a local off-road shop wanted around $900-950

The place I asked is an off road shop. I think it's a fair price for them being an off road shop.

Yeah that is really good. In caliifornia they charge like 800 plus for install. And does the price really matter cause it will make the truck look really good. In the grand sceme of things that is

Shop it around. While it may be a good idea to look for a good price. You should also consider the quality of the work. Is this a shop that normally installs lifts? How much experience do they have with the unit that you want?

x2 on shopping around. shops up here won't even install a kit they didn't sell you. its a "liability issue" so they claim.

They install lifts all the time. My friends have gone there before and loved the quality of work they do.

I would stll shop around, but if they do it regularly then you should be fine. Be sure and post pics when you get it done.

if you have the means available, then i would install yourself..... and use the money for a new set of wheels !!!! or offset the cost of tires !!! either way, you win !
