Upper control arm bushin replacement

Hey guys,

I've had a squeak when it starts getting cold out and I think I've narrowed it down to my upper control arm bushings. They're cracked and appear to be 67,000 miles old. Does this make sense? Would bad bushings cause a squeak (metal on metal)? The upper ball joint is good as I checked them yesterday. Has anyone ever replaced just the bushings? I found some moogs for 19 bucks. Any tips? I have a haynes manual.

Replace the whole arm

Its easier just to replace the whole arm with the ball joint pressed in already from Moog. Remember to not torque down the bolts all the way until the truck is back on the ground. Also remember to mark where the cams are on the bolts as well to get it back close to aligned. You will need to get an alignment again.

Whole job should take about 2 hours.
