eating up the inside of my tired

I installed a 2 1/2" autospring leveling kit on my 2004 f150 4x4 crew cab. I then put on 285/70R17s on my stock 17" rims.

Question...

I am eating up the inside of the tires. I have taken it to be aligned three times and it still eats them up.

Any ideas about what might be going on?

Anybody else having this same issue?

thanks in advance for any input

If what you are stating is that the inside edge of the tire is wearing, that is an alignment problem. If you are saying the middle of the tire is wearing, that is an over inflation problem.

yes it is the inside edge of my tires. and not a smooth wear pattern, but a jagged uneven wear pattern. i have had it aligned twice recently and can't get it to stop.

do you think it may be because of my leveling kit???

If aligned properly, the leveling kit should not matter, unless the kit itself makes it impossible to align properly.

Your alignment is not within specs if the inside of the tires are wearing. Try a different shop.

jagged uneven wear, sounds like you may be past due on a tire rotation.

This sounds like severe cupping to me.
