2.5" Autospring Ordered

Went ahead and ordered the 2.5 inch AS kit tonight. I will be out of town all week so hopefully it will be here by the time I get back. Ready to get it on and see if I need the AAL or not.

I have also come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a cheap tire for 18 inch rims. Why spend $900-1000 on 285s when 35x12.50 KM2s could be had for $1200-1300.

Truck needed to be leveled anyway

I ordered the same kit the other day. I am also out of town and expect it waiting for me when I return home. Are you going to install it yourself? If so, pics would be greatly appreciated.

If you think tires for 18" rims are expensive, you should look at em for 20"'s. Let go of my freaking hands!

I do plan on installing myself. From what I have read around here it shouldn't be too hard.

And I will be sure to take plenty of pics. And the two trucks together should be sweet. Both leveled, wearing BFG mud terrains.

Yup and your truck has been one of the inspirations for this the whole time.

Sweet! Make sure to post tons of pics when you get it finished!!! You will notice the KM2's are a little "bumpy" under 5mph but you get used to it. They are SOOOOO quiet on the highway you won't even notice them Plus the KM2's are amazing off road An air impact will be your best friend when doing the leveling kit IMO

Thanks for the input. I plan on doing it at a buddy's shop who has air tools.

How much did your fuel mileage go down with the 35s? Truck is otherwise stock.

I never really calculated my fuel mileage Sometimes I have a lead foot and driving in northern VA doesn't help

Some of us are in college and don't have the money for a bigger lift because they bought a commuter car and buy guns and tons of ammo to go to the range every week
