i'm assuming you didn't install your own lift? basically, you jack the truck up, support it under the frame rails with stands, take the whole front apart, and swap the crossmembers, shocks, knuckles, and hardware back to stock. lower truck onto ground. reverse directions for other truck.

Isn't there a bracket you must weld back on to the truck?

i haven't really thought of a price yet. Ill include installation price in that due to i am pretty sure there is welding involved. I want the installation done by a friend at his shop. Not sure how much he will charge. Also the suspension/tires/and rims from another truck better be in good condition due to the fact that mine is. Also i want the rims that CRF250rider1000 has on his truck.

What's the reason you're wanting to do this? It's NOT cost effective at all!! If it has anything to do with trading-in your truck.......just trade it like it is. Part of the frame has to be cut to install the lift. This part is not easily welded back on.

Honestly, i cannot believe im saying this, but im tired of the lift. I just want a stock truck. If it turns out its too much trouble to switch then i will just leave it as is. Also i will be going to school in Austin. A lifted truck doesn't work too well in downtown Austin. Works great where i live now but not too well for that city.

Well, if you wanted, you could "lower" the truck 2 inches and put some 33's on it??

It "can" be put back to stock....it's just not cost effective =( Epically if you had to pay someone else to do it. Would be much cheaper to trade your truck.

I will have to agree with you driving a lifted truck downtown austin SUCKS unless your just driving through. Even I hate driving downtown and I only have 33s on the truck.

But if you are living downtown to go to ut you might not even have to drive since there is buses everywhere..

whatever you do good luck man.

Yes, you have to weld the peaces you had to cut out back on, Why would you do that? If selling truck park it in front of high school with 4sale sign and deal done

I drove a lifted 150 and two lifted Broncos all over Austin for years... no problems. I enjoyed being able to jump curbs when necessary. :-) As long as you're not high enough to hit in parking garages. I drove one Bronco that was VERY close...
