Tie Rod Ends
I dont have pics, but I just did this last week.
first thing to do after taking the tires off is to measure the distance from the center of the tie rod to the last thread of the adjuster nut.
Next is to remove the cotter pin and loosen the castle nuts on each end.
Use a pitman arm puller or something like that to break the connection of hte joint. Using the castle nut is a good thing to press on. ---- Alternatly you can pound on it with a hammer. Thats what I did,
Next you have to loosen the adjuster nut on each end. Then you can remove the old end.
Before inserting the new end, apply anti-sieze. Just a recommendation tho.
Next screw the end in tilll the measurement for the adjuster nut. make sure it is tightened down.
Secure with the new castle nut and cotter pin.
then goto your nearest firestone service center and purchase the lifetime alignment.
Its a pretty simple replacement. Good Luck !
