steering stabilizer

I've got an 06' f150 4x4 and I dropped it off friday for a 6" procomp lift and
35" mickey thompson mtz's on 17x9 mickey thompson classic II's. I was wondering if I should've thrown in a steering stabilizer too. It won't be ready until tuesday so I may still have time to get one on there but I wanted to know if it's really worth it or not and if so...what should I get? Thanks guys.

I don't know if Pro Comp makes one, but Fabtech does. It may be a worthwhile upgrade.

I agree with Wandell, unless your turning anything bigger than 37's, and have a solid axle, it worthless.

I have a Fabtech steering stabilizer on mine and I like it, I would recommend putting one on when you have your lift put on, the stabilizer reduces bumpsteer on the road, in other words when you hit a hole in the road you dont feel the jarring in the steering wheel as bad the shock takes the beating instead of you. just my 2 cent

I think you'll be ok with out one. The mickey shouldn't be too rough of a ride. You might have a little nibble, but you definately get used to it. I bought one because i put on super swamper irok's and i still haven't put it on. A combination of laziness and getting used to the iroks Their not that difficult to put on so if you want to put one on later if the ride is to rough for you.

Yeah its def worth it in my opinion. I used to have 32" Pirelli Scorpions on 20" aftermarket wheels and my steering wheel would shake like crazy going 55-75 mph. Now it never moves
