04 FX4 Knocking question

This is my first post about my first Ford truck. Its a 2004 Screw FX4 with 108,000 miles on it. My question is about a strange clunking/knocking in the front end when I go over bumps or turn etc. Sounds like maybe ball joints or something in the steering or suspension. Just wondered if any of ya'll might know what this is or can tell me if its normal on a Ford truck? Love the truck - its my first after 6 Chevy's so its a big change.

Thanks for your help.

I have the same problem, only the frist time you drive it for the day when turning and hit a bump. I sprayed all the bushings with silicone spray and still no luck. I also checked the front end out and all seems well. Ill just wait till it gets worse. Sound like a creeking sound. Very hard to describe.

The ball joints are probably bad.

Now I'm starting to wonder if its the Ujoints, it is now making the noise while sitting still.
