Ride quality on lowered trucks

I have an 06 Mark LT. I have never driven an F150 but I assume it's the same. Right now I'm really surprised how smooth the ride is for being a truck. I want to lower it with Eibachs 2" in front 3" in the back. How would the ride quality change? Is it going to be a lot rougher? will i feel every single bump? And most importantly would lowering it only with new springs mess up the other suspension components?

The front will probably be a little stiffer but the rear should be the same.

hmm.. im not sure about this. maybe depending on what lowering package you get. i would ask the shop that does that work that question.

or you can put air ride suspension all the way around. i did, feels like im riding on a cloud. hehe
