Why is the PA Body lift diff. for '03 than '00-'02?

I noticed they have a separate body lift kit for the 2003 F150 (in my case the screw) while their other kit is for the '00-'02. What is the difference?

Thanks!

I have no idea. It has to be something minor. Contact PA and ask them.

Probably nothing to worry over.

I installed a body lift for a 2000 F150 Extended Cab on my 2001 supercrew without any problems. I actually had a lot of left over parts.

Haha...Cashel, seeing that I love how your truck looks and know you know what you're doing, I"ll take what you aid as good. Any other person saying they had left over parts and I would be scratching my head wondering when their cab will be falling off the frame(LOL)...

Hmm...I wonder why when I take my Engine apart and rebuild it I have parts left over...must be efficiency (LOL...J/K)

I'm pretty sure the kit I had was made to fit an ex-cab long bed, plus I had some spacers/bolts that Cecil gave me. I've got everything I need on the truck now though. Not missing any spacers, even welded in the bed crushers.

Some of the kits are a little different, and I think I had parts left over on both intalls I did as well (00 and my 03)...

I remember the directions telling me to lift my brake module 2" on the 03 and gave me spacers for it, but my 00 kit never did. I never lifted the 03 brake module anyway, everything is still fine.

I wouldn't worry about extra parts as long as you follow the directions and keep a close eye on everything.
