Body lift

3" body lift on 285's with STOCK 16x7 wheels. Will it look ok? Truck is 1998 f-250 light duty

It'll look OK, but you could probably go up a size and have it look better. IMO...

it will look like a mini F-250 super duty to me... 4.2trimble had a setup like this for a week before stepping up to a 36'' TSL.

He told me the other night that he wouldn't recommend 36s to anybody with a 3" BL. I'm loving my 35 MTs...I could live with 33 ATs (in the MI winters)... Anything less than that is OK.

OP- I'd consider at least a 33 (305/75/16) on your stock rims...

jk007, i was referring to the 285's. he had 285's on his truck for a little bit with the bl. it looked good to me, but 35's would look better. i personally would not run 36's on a bl, either.
