When do you know it's time for new shocks
Hey all, when do you know it's time to change the shocks on these trucks? I have 102,000 miles on them presently and was curious how long they could last.
They have probably been gone for quite a while now. The springs on these trucks are heavy enough that it is very hard to tell the shocks are bad. However, change them and you will find they make a world of difference.
I usually change the OEs out at 30k.

Bilstein shocks are the only way to go IMO...
They are expensive and a pain in the **** to install (the rears aren't bad, the fronts are a b*tch), but nothing comes close to the ride quality...
