I hit a HUGE bump

Parking lot was completely empty last night so instead of going all the way out to the street, I cut through the parking lot. 35-40 MPH I blindly hit a center divider. I know I got air and everything in the back of my truck hit the roof. I went back today and looked at the divider and it was about 7 inches high and 2 1/2 foot wide. I havent gotten under my truck to inspect, but what may have been damaged???

Dude, get under the truck and look. You could have damaged any number of things

Main thing you should inspect is that your rims are still even holding air in the tires! I bent my rim on a dang speed-bump. Check that, and have your alignment checked! Good Luck man

let's see, you could have bent a crossmember (torsion bars, transmission), punctured the gas tank, gouged the oil pan, there's no way to know until you take a look.

my be is that you damaged alot more than you might think. thats a high bump thats usually not very friendly.

Ball Joints, CV Shafts, Torsion Bars, Idler Arms, sway bar endlinks are probably toast, oil pan, trans. pan, cracked a wheel, cracked a radiator, broke an engine mount.

With no lift thats a big bump at any speed.

I wouldnt take my truck over it a 10 much less 30-40

I'm not going to hobble outsite again tonight(broken leg n ankle). I'll be outside again tomorrow so I will get more pics tomorrow. I shook everything from the end links to the a-arms and everything feels tight. Let me know if you guys want pics of anything else, I'll get them tomorrow. . .
