Hi, I am new to this forum so hello all f150 owners....I have an F150 XL V6 2wd truck that I would like to have lifted. First do I need a lift or leveling?? what is the difference. Basically I would like it to be higher and as level as possible, without breaking the bank. I will be sending her in for a muffler/cc replacement. has approx 112K on it. I also will have shocks replaced. what is the route for me...I saw in another post something about a 2.5"lift in the front and 2" block in the back?? That would be good....do not need big tires on there, I have something like 235/70R16 on right now and they are plenty good. I might go bigger later. Any suggestions? Thanks for your patience and advice.

 

A leveling kit just lifts the front enough to level the truck. A lift kit lifts the front and the rear to raise the entire truck. What year is your truck.
