Hauling

I have a 01 f150 5.4 4x4 supercrew.

I need to go pick up a pallet of pellets (pellet stove) and a whole pallet weights 2,000lbs.

Do you guys think the truck can handle it or should I break it down and do two trips?

Has anyone hauled this kind of weight in their 97-03 f150 before?

Kinda funny reading this, I just picked up a ton today, drove about 20 miles, no problem, I have an 06 xlt 5.4 4x4- last year my son picked up two tons, one in the bed and the other on a trailer, he has a 99, 5.4 4x4 also no problem. $230.00, a ton what a rip

the most i ever had was around 900# in my 97 150 it was a bunch of bags of plaster mix. rear end sagged a little and she labored a little up hills otherwise she did ok. i had the 4.6. 2,000# sounds to risky to me for one trip.

you should be good to go, plenty of power to move that load but be prepared for the rear to squat a bit
