ok i have a 97 f150 reg cab stepside that i lowered 3/4". im thinging about getting a 97-03 supercrew f150 and doing a 4/6" drop. my question is how do you do the c section stuff? please help. thanks.

 

to C-Notch the frame is what ur talkin about? if you kno how to weld good then its pretty easy. im not speakin from experience but i watched the shop that layed my truck do it step by step. the C-notch comes in 4 pieces. i have some pictures of the work in my photos. 1st mark off where to put the c notch. then weld the face and work your way around. when you have 1 piece left which should be the underneath piece, then is when you cut the frame off so when the job is done its like the frame never moved. its pretty hard to describe step by step without showin in person. find a shop. i have more pics, i'll upload more.
