Fabtech 2wd 6" Lift Question

I started intalling the Fabtech 6" lift on my 2wd 2008 Screw last weekend. When I got to the back I noticed they only included a 2.2" rear block and no new rear shocks. Why is the rear block only 2.2"? I've seen in previous posts that some guys recommended buying the 5.2" rear block. Is the 2.2" block for a "Pre-runner" type truck?

Yeah, the Fabtech lifts usually give you a prerunner look, but I thought 4 new shocks were included.

Just curious with the NBS trucks and the Fabtech lifts. Is the 6" 4x2 Fabtech truly a 6" lift (will it sit lower than a 6" 4x4) or is it built like the old 4x2 Fabtech where it's a little more lift, but sits at the same height as a 6" 4x4?

A 4x4 will sit higher than a 4x2, both with Fabtech lifts.

For some reason, the 2wd kit has the front a little higher than the back, where the 4x4 kit has the truck perfectly level.

Thanks for all the help. I bought the 5" block and installed it yesterday. It now sits perfect. Now I just have to decide which wheels to buy.

I know you didn't ask me, but since I have the same setup as saakers I'll go ahead and answer. Drive shaft is plenty long enough, no spacer needed.

I ve been looking into whether i need a spacer on the rear diff.
I found most guys said they did, but WXSCPO didn't? Are you still running it that way with no issued WXSCPO?
