they make a good lift kit and the price is reasonable, a few hundred more than a pro comp. they also use a new longer shock and not a spacer on top of the stock unit. the only thing i dislike is how far the track width increases, but i understand why this is done with lift kits.

the Fabtech 6" is just a good quality lift kit that comes with everything and holds up excellent offroad and onroad, I would highly recommend this lift because I have not had any problems at all with mine..

I agree. Also, it seems to me that they specialize in Fords. I say that because they seem to have more Ford lifts than anything else and every Fabtech showtruck I've seen has been a Ford.

I agree with all that has been said. These reasons influenced me to buy a fabtech over a procomp. Having done the install myself- I would recommend it from that standpoint alone. All the parts are there, the directions were easy to follow, and after the install- everything is holding up perfectly. The over-all ride is very similar to stock- without the stiffness or roll that I had expected

I just picked my 6" Fabtech up yesterday. Its sitting in the garage, installing it next weekend!!

I went with it because it is the best value lift IMO. Great performance and durability for a reasonable price.

what about skyjacker and rough country. Putting out a little more money is worth it for my truck or is there no difference really.

Just get a 6" Rize if money is no option and you want a quality kit.

Unless things have changed recently, Rize only offers 8 and 12 inchers for the f150. I wish they made a 6 inch, it would definetely be a good seller.

Rize does make a 6" lift for the F150, but why waste the money? If money is no option and you're a 4WD then go with an 8" Rize.

As for 6" lifts I went with Fabtech because of the recommendations and the price. It's a high quality lift for a great price and I have been very happy with the performance of it. Also I choose it over the stage 1 Pro Comp simply because I didn't want that 6" spacer sitting on top of my coil, looks horrible IMO.

I thought you were going with a 4.5" superlift? Are you still going with 33's? Either way, can't wait to see it with the lift

Anyway, most people go with fabtech because it's a great lift for the money (unless you're looking at the dirt-logics) but I'm sure you'd be happy with any of the many lift kits out there so go with what you want not what someone says

Rize does make a 6", 8" and 12". The 6" and 8" kits are the same price, that's why you don't see many people with them.

i wonder why its the same price.. does the rize 6" come with anything the 8" dosent?

i also agree with everyone on fabtech. procomp is also a good quality lift, ive had 2trucks with both procomp and never had a problem. the only thing i dont like about procomp is the 6" spacer they use.. which is why im upgrading to fabtech 2.5 coilovers
