I am planning on getting the Autosprings leveling kit for my truck, but I am not sure whether I should get the 2" or the 2.5" kit.

I have read about what different people think about the height differences on F150s (Seeing as this is an F150 forum), but I am not sure which will level out my truck the best.

Does anyone have any experience with leveling kits on this era of Expedition?

And just to clarify, I should get about 2.5" of lift out of the 2", and 3" of lift out of the 2.5"? I would like to know this, because I have figured out that 2.5" would be the perfect amount to lift my truck to make it level.

 

Best way to determine would be to go out and measure you truck. That will be the only way to know how much will really be needed to level it.

 

I need 2.5" to level the truck, and as I have read that you can expect about 0.5" more than what the kit is rated for. Is this the case?

 

Can anybody help me out here? I am going to order the leveling kit tomorrow and I need to know if I can expect to get 2.5" out of the 2" kit.

 

The Autospring lifts are sold by lift height, so the 2 inch kit should give you 2 inches of lift, the 2.5 inch kit should give you 2.5. I'm sure there is a little difference from vehicle to vehicle and unfortunately no may people lift the new Expy's.
