I live in Memphis, TN, but thanks for the offer. I know how to put it on but I just dont have the tools or the patience to. And I know someone who had an idiot put on his body lift on his '01 f150 ext. cab and he got in a wreck and part of the body unbolted from the chassis during the wreck so I'm kinda scared to have anyone but a professional put it on. I know these fords are a pita to put a body lift on but i think id be willing to spend the extra cheese to have maybe like 4 wheel parts put it on.

..

The wheels i am lookin at have 4.03" of backspacing so im pretty sure they'll be fine

Four wheel parts wont do it...Now it maybe different where you live, but when I went in and told them I wanted a body lift and 35s they absolutely refused!! And they also have the worst prices I would shop around, cause from my experience they suck, but then again im in atlanta they could be completely different in memphis...

Ok let me clear some of this up!

1. The body Lifts come in 2" and 3" they can easily be disguised with nerf bars and gap gaurds (as well as moving your bumpers up)

2. The best suspension lifts for the 97-03 4x4's are as follows
1. Fabtech
2. RCD
3. BDS
4. Rancho
side note: As far as im concerned Procomp and Sky Jacker dont make lifts for our trucks.

3. As of tires. The Claws are a nice tire that look great on our trucks, but theres still better choices.
1. Toyo MT (best MT mileage)
2. BFG KM2 (best overall MT)
3. Cooper STT
4. Maxxis Buckshot Mudders
5. Mickey Thompson MTZ
6. Super Swamper IROK RADIAL (good overall performance)
7. Super Swamper TSL RADIAL (great offroad and decent onroad performance)
8. Goodyear MTR's (tried and true good offroad performance)

SIDE NOTE: Tires performance on and offroad has alot of factors involved. A tire with more side wall is going to be better offroad then a low profile design on a larger wheel.

Tires that are made of a harder rubber compound will yeald more mileage but are not going to be the best offroad!

Tires wear depends solely on the owners ability to rotate and keep properly inflated (MAX PSI isnt normally "properly inflated" But every tire has its limits expect 40k for a GOOD MT tread life! and 20K or less for any Bias ply tire!

WHAT?!!! They wouldn't/won't do what you were willing to pay them for? Well I guess I'm just gonna have to find someone to do it/help me. If there's anyone that lives in the memphis area and would be willing to help me out, that'd be great

truck looks great by the way

thanks, exactly what I said now everytime I go in there I am tempted to ask again about it and then when they say no show em the truck!
But on that note I would definitely call them and ask, I would say you are running in the same situation because it is all the same company and all the same uh "values" but then again they are just a bunch of idiots here in georgia! Good luck, when do you think you will get it done?

Well I would say that if you like to work on your truck and it is not your dd then try doin it yourself, I have heard it is not extremely diffficult rather more time consuming. Thats why I got it installed haha, and four wheel parts are a bunch of idiots, I would say stay away from them unless they are your last resort!

Southern Offroad Specialists, in alpharetta, ga
Now a place to look would be at a linex custom, we have a couple here in GA that do lifts and well everything a 4x4 store would do.
And I will be a senior in highschool so I know what you mean when you aint got nothin else to do haha
