would this work?

i have a 4 inch rancho and want it to be around 8

would it work to get a 3 inch body lift then run bilstein 5100's?

or my other option is a 3 inch bodylift and then a lift spacer in the front of 2 inches

i dont have shocks on my rancho is it needed?

Yes shocks are needed for the Rancho kit. I'd get the Bilstein 5100's made for 4-6" of lift and put them at the 6" setting and run a 3" body. Here's a link to the shocks http://store.topguncustomz.com/store...82&i=193821846

hes not saying that you have too. what hes saying is that you want to get 8'' out of what you have . so there for get the bilsteins bc with those you can get 2''s of lift out of those shocks

Sorry, thought you said in your first post that you didn't have shocks. Anyway, the rancho's will do fine. You can put a 2" leveling kit up front and with a 3" body lift you should be at your goal of 8-9" of lift. Hope this helps
