idk about the leveling kits but the AAL raises the rear end and gives it a stiffer feel. personally i dont like the aal bcuz of the stiff feel.

Search around here some. Leveling kits have been beat to death. There are plenty of threads about steel vs poly as well as a few install write ups.

An add a leaf does just what it implies, it adds a leaf to the rear spring pack, lifting it 1-2 inches in most cases.

I have an AAL, 2" trailmaster and I love it! The ride is a little bit harsher, but nothing that is bone-jarring or anything. Its great if you do a lot of towing (I tow a 5.5k lb. (Dry) 2 horse w/ changing room & saddle room, and although my truck sits with the rear up maybe an inch above the front, when the trailer is hooked it sits so level its unbelievable. I would recommend an AAL if you do any towing, or want a rear end to sit a little higher!

Searching is awesome! People took the time to do these write-ups for just these questions.
